About

Ksenia Stetsenko-Skitko is a US-based composer, violinist, and pianist born in Ukraine. Her music joins Western classical and Eastern-European folk music traditons, as well as impressionistic harmonies and polyphonic thinking. Global political events and deeply personal experiences are reflected in her works for solo instruments, chamber ensembles, and acapella vocal pieces. Ksenia’s creative journey is enriched by a degree in Cultural Studies, constant traveling, and recent experiences as a refugee.
